Our favorite baked salmon or trout filet recipe with a tasty mayonnaise coating. The recipe is healthy, very easy to prepare and the fish always remains juicy and flavorful. In the summertime, I recommend preparing the recipe on the grill, but the same juicy and good result can be obtained by cooking it in the oven.
Remove the fish bones from the fish filet with tweezers or small pliers.
Chop the dill and onion as finely as possible and add them to the mixing bowl with the mayonnaise. Season the sauce with salt, pepper and a pinch of freshly squeezed lemon juice and mix well.
Season the fish filet with ground salt and pepper and squeeze a little lemon juice over it.
When grilling, it is recommended to place the fish filet on a foil grill tray, while cooking in the oven either on a ceramic tray or on a baking sheet covered with baking paper.
Spread the mayonnaise sauce evenly over the fish filet.
Bake the fish at 200° in a preheated oven or grill for 20 minutes.
You can use a little chopped dill as a garnish, and fresh salad, rice or boiled and baked potatoes are good as a side dish. Bon Appetit!
