Ingredients
  

  • 10.5 oz chicken fillet 300g
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch or potato starch
  • 1.5 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 green onion stalk

Instructions
 

  • Cut the chicken into small pieces.
  • Place the chicken pieces in a mixing bowl, season with salt and pepper, and pour the starch over them. Mix well so that the chicken pieces are evenly coated with a thin layer of starch.
  • In a small bowl, mix the honey, soy sauce, Sriracha sauce, and garlic powder to form a smooth sauce.
  • Pour olive oil into a pan and heat over medium/high heat. Place the chicken pieces in the pan and fry for 2-3 minutes on each side, until the chicken is slightly crispy and browned on both sides.
  • Reduce heat to medium and pour all the sauce over the chicken and mix well. Let the sauce simmer for a few minutes, stirring occasionally, until it has thickened and stuck to the chicken nicely.
  • Serve the honey chicken with cooked rice, noodles, or any other side dish of your choice. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Enjoy!
