Chimichurri Recipe - Traditional Argentinian Herb Sauce
Chimichurri is a delicious sauce made from fresh herbs, olive oil, garlic, wine vinegar and chili. This simple Argentinian herb sauce is perfect for grilled meats and roasted vegetables. Try it and surprise your family and friends at your next barbecue with this delicious and vibrant sauce.
Chop the parsley and garlic as finely as possible.
In a mixing bowl or ~200 ml sealable jar, add the olive oil, red wine vinegar, chopped parsley, chopped garlic, chili flakes and oregano. Season with ground salt and pepper and mix the sauce evenly.
For best results, I recommend letting the flavors infuse for at least a couple of hours before using. Serve the chimichurri sauce with your favorite grilled meat or cooked vegetables. Enjoy!
