Ingredients

  • 100 ml high-quality olive oil 0.4 cup
  • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • Large handful of fresh parsley 30g / ½ cup
  • 2 small garlic cloves
  • 0.5 tsp chili flakes
  • 1 tbsp dried oregano/oregano
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Chop the parsley and garlic as finely as possible.
  • In a mixing bowl or ~200 ml sealable jar, add the olive oil, red wine vinegar, chopped parsley, chopped garlic, chili flakes and oregano. Season with ground salt and pepper and mix the sauce evenly.
  • For best results, I recommend letting the flavors infuse for at least a couple of hours before using. Serve the chimichurri sauce with your favorite grilled meat or cooked vegetables. Enjoy!
