Strawberry Banana Protein Smoothie Recipe (Tips for Better Flavor)
Overview
Strawberry banana protein smoothie is one of my favorite recipes. It’s my go to refreshing breakfast smoothie when I’m in a hurry in the morning or for having a filling midday snack after gym. This recipe has total of 44,6g of protein so it is perfect pre/post-workout drink. Ingredients
- 1 large peeled banana (or 2 smaller ones)
- ½ cup (76g) of strawberries (halved)
- ½ cup (120g) of greek yogurt
- ½ cup (120ml) of almond milk
- 20 grams of hemp seeds
- 1 scoop of unflavored or vanilla flavored protein powder of your choice (for this recipe, I used unsweetened pea protein powder)
- 1 cup (30g) spinach
- ice for your liking

3 Secret Tips for the Best Flavor and Consistency
- Frozen bananas and strawberries and fridge cold temperature milk or plant based milk will give you the best consistency and keep your drink nice and cold. Nobody likes a room-temperature smoothie!
- If your smoothie is lacking flavor, try adding some more strawberries, bananas or a natural sweetener such as honey, agave nectar or maple syrup.
- Any kind of milk or plant based drink works. Even if you’re a fan of regular milk, I definitely recommend trying out coconut milk or almond milk for a different kind of kick to your drink!

Ingredients
- 1 banana (large)
- 0,5 cup strawberries (halved)
- 0,5 cup greek yogurt
- 0,5 cup almond milk
- 20 grams hemp seeds
- 1 scoop vanilla flavored protein powder
- 1 cup spinach
- ice for your liking
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a blender
- Blend on high speed until the texture gets smooth
- Enjoy
